Who we work with
From empty flat to a family's front door
- We lease the home A private landlord leases a self-contained property to us for a fixed term.
- We make it ready We furnish it, fix any hazards and put every safety certificate in place.
- A council places a household The council books the home, nightly or on a longer lease.
- We look after it Repairs, inspections and a 24-hour emergency line for the whole placement.
No home is offered until it is safe
Every certificate is in place before a council sees the address. Officers are welcome to inspect before and during a placement.
- Gas safety certificate, renewed every year
- Electrical installation condition report (EICR)
- Energy performance certificate at or above the legal minimum
- Smoke alarms on every floor, carbon monoxide alarms
- Free of Category 1 hazards under the HHSRS
- Property licence, where the council requires one
